A Lothian family has raised more than £10,000 for cancer research after taking on three gruelling endurance challenges inspired by the ovarian cancer diagnosis of wife and mum, Mary Muir.

Over a coffee, we caught up with John Macaulay MBE, who volunteers for FACE, a cancer fund, part of NHS Lothian Charity.

At the start of October, we hosted a night of lab tours and presentations from leading NHS Lothian researchers and clinicians. During the evening, we reflected on the incredible impact your generosity has made.

The inaugural Scottish Neuro-oncology Fellowship is co-funded by NHS Lothian Charity, demonstrating the Charity’s commitment to supporting vital research that will directly benefit patients in across Lothian and beyond.
