Take part in our Lapland raffle to experience a magical day in Finnish Lapland with your family and meet the big man himself, Santa Claus, in his homeland, courtesy of Canterbury Travel.

Money raised will support our Fighting Against Cancer Edinburgh (FACE) Fund. FACE is an NHS Lothian Charity Cancer Fund, providing the little things which can make a real difference for patients undergoing treatment for cancer.

The draw closes on the 28^th of October, 2026 and will be drawn on the 2^nd of November, 2026 at 12 noon.

What to expect

Your fun packed day includes return flights from Edinburgh to Enontekio in Finland on 6th December. On arrival you’ll be given snow suits and boots to keep you warm, then experience the ride of a lifetime as we transport you by snowmobile and sleigh to the activity village. Enjoy husky and reindeer sleigh rides, tobogganing, plus adult and junior snowmobiles, then check out the ice igloo. Re-fuel in the cabin restaurant on a tasty 2-course hot lunch and enjoy a private family meeting with Santa Claus before it’s time to fly back to Scotland.

NHS Lothian Charity is the licensed promoter of this raffle, with its registered office at NHS Lothian Charity, Waverley Court

The prize has been donated by Canterbury Travel, 42 High Street, Northwood, Middlesex, HA6 1BL.
Open to UK residents over the age of 18 only. NHS Lothian Charity employees are ineligible to take part.
The prize includes same-day return flights from Edinburgh Airport to Enontekio Airport in Finland, resort transfers, in-flight catering, use of thermal snowsuits and boots, lunch in resort and all activities as per itinerary.
The prize must be taken on December 6^th 2026 (“Prize Date”).
The prize is for 4 people, which can be made up of two adults (aged 12 +) and two children (aged 2-11) or one adult and three children. One of the adults must be aged 18 or over as at the Prize Date and all passengers under the age of 16 must only travel if they have the express permission of their legal guardian to do so.
Passengers must hold valid passports and have appropriate travel insurance for the prize duration.
Failure to attend for any reason whatsoever on the Prize Date does not entitle the winner to an alternative prize and the prize will be deemed to have been forfeited.
Canterbury Travel reserves the right to substitute the prize, or element(s) of it, to something of equal or higher value if the prize or element(s) of it become unavailable for any reason whatsoever.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
The prize must be booked directly with Canterbury Travel head office, 42 High Street, Northwood, Middlesex, HA6 1BL. All details will be provided to the prize winner.
Tickets are £10 each and equates to 1 entry only. Entrants can enter multiple times up to the total value of the allocated amount for a single lottery, which is £20,000. If ticket sales reach £20,000 the draw will close.
Insofar as is permitted by law, NHS Lothian Charity, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of NHS Lothian Charity, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected. You must ensure that you are medically fit to attend the trip.
The opening date for entries is 30^th September, 2026. The draw will close on the 28^th October, and entries received after this time will not be accepted. The winner of the prize will be drawn at random on the 2^nd November at 12pm. The prize will be made available to the winner as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days of the draw.
It is your responsibility to read and comply with all terms and conditions. Entrants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. NHS Lothian Charity reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
Any images, video, audio, or quotes taken on the trip or at any other occasion relating to your trip, may be used by NHS Lothian Charity in any future publicity, advertising, fundraising materials and/or promotion. Personal data supplied during the course of this raffle will only be processed as set out in NHS Lothian Charity’s Privacy Policy  and in accordance with these terms and conditions.
NHS Lothian Charity reserves the right to hold, void, cancel, postpone, or amend the raffle where it becomes necessary to do so.
The decision of NHS Lothian Charity regarding any aspect of the raffle is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding it.
The raffle will be governed by Scots law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
