NHS Lothian Charity: Eyecare
Friends of the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion – Supporting Sight-saving Care
From the everyday to the transformational, NHS Lothian Charity supports the people at the heart of NHS Lothian: patients, families, carers and staff. Together, we help make healthcare better.
If you choose to support the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, your donation can make a real difference, supporting sight-saving research, enhancing patient care, providing specialist equipment and supporting staff wellbeing.
There are many ways to show your support and gratitude for the care you or a loved one received. Whatever method you choose, please let us know that you’d like your donation to support The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion. You can do this by adding a note in the free text box on our online donation form or by writing it on the back of your cheque. Jenny’s story: honouring my late husband with a gift in my Will
Jenny, a valued supporter, wanted to honour her late husband’s memory with a gift in her Will to support the work of the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion.

Supporting Life-Changing Research At The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion
Generous donations and gifts in Wills have enabled NHS Lothian Charity to fund a multidisciplinary research group at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion, working to improve treatments for L-ORD and ultimately find a cure.
With your help, we keep everyone’s future in focus.
A donation from you today can help:
– Fund sight-saving research
– Provide specialist equipment
– Support the wellbeing of NHS staff
– Improve patient comfort, care and experience
– Enhance welcome areas
The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion provides specialist care for the treatment and management of diseases and conditions affecting the eye and eyesight. Its high quality services include an Acute Referral Clinic, three theatres and two day care wards.

Eyecare (Friends of the Alexandra Eye Pavilion) was set up in 2002 by staff at the Eye Pavilion to offer grateful patients a way to directly support the work of the Eye Pavilion. It is a charitable fund that is part of NHS Lothian Charity.
