Havens Exhibition at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital

Havens Exhibition

Following a tour of the exhibition around NHS Lothian sites, we showcased our Havens Exhibition at Stills: Centre for Photography for everyone to enjoy.

NHS Lothian Charity presented our Havens Exhibition in partnership with Stills: Centre for Photography. This special exhibition featured portraits and stories that celebrated the amazing staff who work at NHS Lothian.

Havens takes you on a journey to discover the hidden havens of NHS Lothian staff – those peaceful pockets within the busy healthcare environment where they find moments of quiet to recharge. Award-winning photographers and writers, Craig Easton and Lottie Davies, were invited to capture these personal stories through a creative residency with our Green Health and Tonic Arts teams.

The result? A beautiful collection of portraits and stories that offer a glimpse into the hearts and minds of NHS Lothian staff, highlighting their dedication and the importance of wellbeing support. These artworks are now part of NHS Lothian Charity’s Tonic Arts permanent collection, a lasting testament to the resilience of these incredible individuals.

The exhibition ran from 28 June – 13 July 2024, at Stills: Centre for Photography, 23 Cockburn St, Edinburgh EH1 1BP.
