FACE Afternoon Tea Raises Over £12,800 to Support People Affected by Cancer

Supporters of our FACE fundraising group came together on Saturday 15 March for this year’s FACE Afternoon Tea, held at the Sheraton Hotel in Edinburgh.

The event raised an impressive £12,853, helping FACE continue its important work to support people affected by cancer, their loved ones and staff at the Edinburgh Cancer Centre, NHS Lothian.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of entertainment, alongside raffles and an auction kindly supported by generous prize donors. The success of the event was very much a team effort, and FACE would like to thank all those who gave their time, donated prizes or contributed in any way.

This year marked the 8th FACE Afternoon Tea, and over the years the event has become a much‑loved fixture in FACE’s fundraising calendar, thanks to the dedication and hard work that goes into organising it both before and on the day.

A special thank you goes to Liz Cann for her outstanding contribution to the FACE Afternoon Teas over the years. Liz’s energy, drive and organisational skills have played a significant role in making the events such a success, helping to create memorable occasions that make a real difference for people affected by cancer.
