Useful things to know:

Yes. If you choose to run in aid of NHS Lothian Charity, we ask that you pay a £10 registration fee.

You can do this online once you have registered with the event organisers directly using the links above, and we will send you a link to our payment form to enable you to pay the entry fee.

Please note, you must be over 18 to use our online payment facility. If the event participant is under 18, the legal guardian should complete the payment process and agree to the Fundraising Events Terms and Conditions on the participant’s behalf.

You can sign up directly through the official website. Be sure to select NHS Lothian Charity as your chosen charity so we know you’re running for us and can send you all the information you need.

Yes, we ask our runners to pledge to raise a minimum of £100.

Don’t worry though, we’ll be here to help you every step of the way with tips, tools, and encouragement! And remember, every pound you raise helps us provide enhanced care and comfort for NHS Lothian patients and support our incredible NHS staff.

To help you stay on track, we also set key fundraising milestones: at least 50% of your fundraising target one month before the event, 85% by the date of the event, with the remaining amount to be raised 4 weeks after event day.

These milestones are designed to support you throughout your journey, keep you motivated, and help you reach your target with confidence.

You can find out more in our Fundraising Events Terms and Conditions

We’ve got you covered! Once you sign up, you’ll receive:

  • Helpful tools, tips and encouragement on the run up to the event
  • Ongoing support from our friendly fundraising team
  • A dedicated contact for any questions or encouragement you need

Runners must be at least 12 years old on the event day due to health and safety rules, with anyone under 16 needing to be accompanied by an adult.

For under 18s, a parent or guardian will be required to complete the payment process for the entry fee on our website and sign up to our Fundraising Event Terms and Conditions on the participant’s behalf

Not at all! Whether you walk, jog, or run, this is about participation, not pace. It’s a supportive, empowering environment for all fitness levels.
