Making a difference for children living with cancer

Tagged by

A special trip was organised for young people aged 13 to 18, who are undergoing treatment for cancer at the Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.

The trip was more than just a getaway, it provided a safe space for these young individuals to connect, share their treatment journeys, build confidence, and foster independence.

From high ropes to archery, the itinerary was packed with activities aimed at fostering teamwork and creating cherished memories. Feedback from the young people was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the opportunity to connect with others and try new experiences.

The connections forged, laughter shared, and the memories created serve as a testament to the resilience and strength of these young people.
